supposed to do

You’ll understand the role of the personal statement within the application and what admissions readers can, and cannot learn from grades, activities, and test scores alone.

We’ll also explore why a strong essay should complement—not repeat—the résumé, and why even an impressive accomplishment needs reflection, insight, and authentic storytelling to become a compelling personal statement.

Part Two: How to find your strongest topic

You’ll work through an expertly guided process to identify experiences, relationships, interests, challenges, routines, objects, environments, and moments that may hold meaningful essay potential.

We’ll evaluate topics based on what they reveal, not just what happened.

A strong essay is more than an anecdote.
